Who we are

Code Systems runs programming courses for kids and teenagers aged 5 to 17 in Sidi Besher, Alexandria, Egypt. We teach Scratch Jr, Scratch and Python, from complete beginners to young people writing real code.

This policy explains what information we collect when you get in touch or book a spot, why we need it and what we do with it. If you have any questions, email us at codesystems.sw@gmail.com.

What information we collect

We only ask for what we need to help you enrol your child. That means:

  • the parent or guardian's name;
  • a mobile number we can reach you on;
  • your child's age and, if you choose one, the level you're interested in;
  • any messages you send us through WhatsApp, phone or email.

We don't ask for addresses, ID numbers, payment card details or photos through this website.

Why we collect it

We use your details to contact you about enrolment and course details: to answer your questions, help you choose the right level for your child, share schedules and confirm a spot. We won't use them to send you unrelated marketing.

Children's information

The only information we collect about a child is their age (and, optionally, the level they're interested in). A parent or guardian gives us this; we need it to place the child in the right group.

We never collect information directly from children through this website. The booking form is meant to be filled in by a parent or guardian. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

How we store and protect it

Your details reach us through WhatsApp and are kept only on accounts and devices used by the Code Systems team. Access is limited to the people who handle enrolment, our devices are protected with passwords, and we don't copy your details into other systems unless we need to for your child's course. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information or share it with advertisers.

We only use the service providers we need to run the booking form and messaging, such as WhatsApp (operated by Meta) to send and receive messages, and our website hosting provider. They process information only so we can provide the service. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses only basic, anonymous measurements, such as which pages are visited, to understand whether the site is working well. These don't identify you personally, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may also store a small setting so the opening animation doesn't replay on every visit.

How long we keep it

We keep enrolment conversations for as long as we need them to arrange and run your child's course. If your child doesn't join, we delete your details within 12 months of our last conversation. If your child studies with us, we keep basic contact details while they're enrolled and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

In line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020), you can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you and your child;
  • correct anything that's wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information;
  • stop using your information, by withdrawing your consent.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also let current families know directly.
